In order to submit any type of withdrawal on the platform, please select “Transfer” on the top right portion of your home dashboard and select the type of asset for withdrawal. You will then follow the instructions given on the side panel to complete your withdrawal request.
In order to submit a USD withdrawal request you must have saved bank account information in your account settings page. You may select the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the home dashboard to find this.
From there, select the “Saved Banks” tab and click on “Add Bank Account”
For US domestic wires, withdrawals typically reach beneficiary banks T+0 while international wire transfers sometimes take 2-5 days.
Common issues that may delay your USD withdrawals
- Intermediary bank delays: International wires can take up to 5 business days to reach your account due to the funds being routed through multiple intermediary banks.
- Incorrect or Missing Wire Details: This may result in the withdrawal being rejected and returned by the intermediary or beneficiary bank. Examples include incorrect IBAN numbers or bank account name mismatch, etc. Please validate by reaching out to your beneficiary bank before submitting wire withdrawal requests.
- Invalid or Missing ABA: Most often, banks will use different ABA (routing) numbers for different types of transfers. Please confirm with your bank that the ABA routing number you’re using corresponds to a wire transfer.
If you're experiencing multiple withdrawal cancellations and cannot identify the reason, we would advise you to visit the settings page within your Paxos wallet dashboard. From here, you can manage your saved bank account information. Considering the most likely reason is often due to incorrect or missing wire details, we would advise you to manually add or re-add (not link) the bank account details you wish to use for your future wire withdrawals and resubmit the withdrawal using the newly saved account. You may delete the old saved bank account that was resulting in cancellations, if you wish.
Digital Asset withdrawals
In order to submit a digital asset withdrawal request you must have saved address information in your account settings page. You may select the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the home dashboard to find this.
From there, select the “Saved Addresses” tab and click on “Add New Address”
Unsupported token withdrawal policy
If you have withdrawn a digital asset from Paxos to a wallet that does not support that token, please reach out to the wallet provider to retrieve that asset. Note that Paxos will not be able to retrieve the tokens once it has been broadcasted onto the blockchain and sent out from the Paxos platform.
