In addition to your username and password, Paxos requires 2-step verification, also known as 2-factor (2FA) or multifactor authentication (MFA), as an additional security layer.
With 2-step verification, you will be prompted to provide a unique verification code after entering your username and password during login.

My codes aren't working
If your MFA is not syncing or not accepting your pin ID, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
- Ensure you are entering the code before the code times out or refreshes
- The code you are entering is a 6 digit code with no spaces
- Check that the clock on your device is set to the correct timezone. An incorrect clock can cause codes to be out of sync. Your device is using automatic time settings (most likely case for Android users)
If these troubleshooting tips do not resolve your issue, please submit a support ticket to disable your MFA device and add a new one.
