Kindly refer to the information below to help you withdraw your funds from your Paxos account following our announcement on retiring itBit Retail accounts:
- My withdrawal has been pending, how can I ensure I am able to withdraw my balances in time?
Please note that we are experiencing a high volume of withdrawals and our team is working diligently to ensure your withdrawal request is processed as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Domestic wire withdrawals are processed via the FedWire system and may take 1-3 business days to settle. International wire withdrawals may take 1-5 days to reach the beneficiary bank.
*Weekend & Holiday Schedule: Note that USD wire transfers are not processed on weekends & on US banking holidays.
Withdrawal of balances from your account will continue to be possible after account closure. Please submit a ticket and we will be glad to assist you.
- My withdrawal has been canceled/is unsuccessful. What should I do?
Please refer to the common issues outlined below regarding cancelation of a wire withdrawal.
Domestic Wires
Your withdrawal might have been canceled due to an invalid ABA/Routing number or a routing number that only supports FedACH. We do not support ACH withdrawals at this time. We advise you to check with your bank to ensure the ABA/Routing number used supports FedWire payments for USD withdrawals.
Your withdrawal might alternatively have been canceled if your address was missing or invalid in your withdrawal request. Please note that we do not accept ambiguous addresses or PO Boxes as valid addresses.

International Wires
Your withdrawal may have been canceled due to update requirements for Intermediary Banks. In order to process any international wires, you will need to include details about your bank’s intermediary (i.e. a US bank). To include these details in future withdrawals and submit a successful wire withdrawal, log into your Paxos account and visit your account settings. You may refer to this article for more details Managing Bank Accounts.
You may also refer to this article Retrieving Intermediary Bank Information for more information on retrieving your intermediary bank information. We encourage you to contact your bank to ensure accurate details are provided. Any future withdrawals submitted with missing Intermediary Bank information will be rejected.
